Independence Day speech, 15 August speech, speech for students, speech for teachers, Independence Day 2025
Speech:
Good morning to the respected principal, teachers, and my dear friends.
Today, we have gathered here to celebrate the 78th Independence Day of our beloved nation, India. This is not just a date in the calendar, but a reminder of the sacrifices and struggles of our freedom fighters who fought bravely against British rule to give us the gift of freedom.
On 15th August 1947, India got its independence after years of patience, courage, and unity. Great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Subhas Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and many others inspired the people to come together for one cause – freedom.
Today, we are living in a free India, where we have the right to speak, to dream, and to achieve. But with freedom comes responsibility. As citizens of India, it is our duty to respect our nation, follow the rules, work honestly, and contribute to its growth.
Let us remember that the real tribute to our freedom fighters is to build the India they dreamed of – an India that is strong, united, and progressive.
On this Independence Day, let’s take a pledge to be responsible citizens and work for a better tomorrow.
Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
